The walks depart from the Montgenèvre Tourist Office.

Montgenèvre (Mont – genevre), the sources of the Durance, is an attractive site for hiking and snowshoeing.
There are many French and Italian itineraries that allow you to discover different themes.
We will go and stretch our legs and our senses through the trails, the forest, the meadows... to admire, smell and hear the mountain environment.
A half-day discovery walk or a day hike to take the adventure further, the choice is yours!
All this with your walking shoes, water bottle, glasses and your good mood (at least I hope so).
The mountain is recognized as a specific environment with unforeseen events that must be adapted to: weather, change of route, cartography, safety...this will also be an opportunity to address these notions.

On the program: In each outing, different themes will be addressed: fauna, flora, history, pastoralism, mountain habitat, summits, lakes.

Outings can extend to other valleys of Briançonnais and Piedmont: Clarée valley (Névache), Cervières, Ecrins National Park, Oulx valley, etc.
