The baby swimming course allows the baby to love water, and to keep the habit of contact with the aquatic environment that he knows from his prenatal life.
Moreover, in their daily lives, parents lack time with their children. The « baby swimmers » allow them to live a privileged moment with baby, and to reinforce the parents/children relationship.
OBJECTIVES
The pedagogy of baby swimming is based on the respect of baby’s rhythms, his needs and fears. It is organised around learning through play and the notion of pleasure. The emotional, motor and relational development of the child are the objectives of the baby swimming course. The main objective of the activity is the pleasure of evolving in an aquatic environment, and to develop skills specific to this element.
Important: baby is an actor of his learning thanks to the benevolent supervision of his parents and the teacher, who are attentive to his needs.
