IDEAL FAMILY WALKS & HIKES

Find all of our ROUTES for a WALK ideal as a family.

The travel time was calculated on a speed of 3 km / h uphill plus 10 min per 100 m of positive elevation and 4 km / h downhill. We have chosen to indicate the cumulative drop (drop c.) - more representative of the effort required - and not the overall drop.
Indeed, the overall height difference expresses the difference in altitude between the point of departure and arrival. The cumulative positive difference in height (difference in level c. +) Is the sum of the positive difference in height (the sum of the “climbs”) that make up the course. The cumulative negative difference in height (difference in level c. -), the sum of the “descents”.

So that the mountain remains a pleasure!

BEFORE LEAVING
Choose an itinerary that suits you or the weakest of the group.
Know the weather forecast. This changes very quickly in the mountains.
Let someone know your route and your expected return time.

EQUIPMENT TO BRING
Plenty of water and a few energy bars or dried fruits.
Sunglasses, sunscreen, hat, sweater and rain jacket (windbreaker), a spare t-shirt (changing after a sweat will prevent you from feeling the cold), good shoes.
Little extra: walking sticks.
A mobile phone. Be careful, however: you will sometimes not receive any network in the mountains.
A plastic bag to collect your rubbish.

DURING THE HIKING
Measure your effort.
Respect and protect the place, don't leave anything behind.
Stay on the trails, the “shortcuts” promote erosion, destroy vegetation and accentuate the ruts.
Don't hesitate to turn around if the weather gets bad, you or someone else in the group gets tired or the route is damaged.
Be particularly attentive to children: adults tend to exercise without counting and the little ones - carried and motionless - are more exposed to the cold, sunstroke, etc.
Respect other users, let cyclists pass by putting yourself at the edges of the track. In return, these will slow down as they move up to your level.
